Sales Manager
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and execute effective sales strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. This role is key to expanding our market reach, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships across the agricultural value chain.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand revenue streams and market presence.
2. Lead business development initiatives with a focus on strategic partnerships and client acquisition.
3. Manager, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets.
4. Analyze sales performance metrics and generate insightful reports to guide decision-making.
5. Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aggregating crops for off-takers such as millers, brewers, and wholesalers.
- Proven success in managing high-value accounts and driving revenue in agricultural or commodity markets.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural value chains, B2B sales, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in interpreting sales data and market trends to shape strategic direction.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel extensively to support team operations and engage with clients on the ground.
